YouTube Fetcher is a campaign type of the free WPeMatico plugin. It publishes the videos of a YouTube channel, user or playlist as WordPress posts, with the video embedded.

In the campaign editor.

Edit or create a campaign and, in the Campaign Type box, choose You Tube Fetcher. The YouTube feeds for this Campaign box appears.

One of these addresses.

Add the feed in the Feeds box as usual, with one of these addresses. Replace the text between % signs with the ID you find in the YouTube URL:

With a live preview.

Each item brings the title, the image, the embedded video and the description. In the YouTube box you can:

• Use the WordPress shortcode instead of the YouTube iframe.
• Change the Width and Height of the video frame.
• Get only Shorts, or skip Shorts.
• Ignore the image, use it only as featured image, or hide the description.

The preview in the box shows how the post will look while you check or uncheck the options.

Note: WPeMatico 2.9 also has a Vimeo campaign type. Turn on the Vimeo card in WPeMatico → Dashboard to publish the videos of a Vimeo user, channel or group.
