EDD Order Numbers by Gateway allows you to track individual sequential order and invoice numbers per payment method for each purchase.

Renumbering all complete orders.

This addon bases its work on renumbering all complete orders, establishing an individual numbering per payment gateway or a unique sequence for all of them from the beginning or from a specified date. Keeping their numbers sequences apart from the EDD sequential orders.  

After first renumbering it will continue working with each order processed as complete after paying it with any selected Payment gateway on its settings.  

This is very useful to make and number invoices only for a few, but not all payment gateways available in the e-store and assign an invoice number only in case the order is successfully paid.

Unique sequential numbering
Establish a sequential numbering for each payment gateway for all completed orders and their invoices.
Joint sequential numbering
Establish a joint sequential numbering for all payment gateways for all completed orders and their invoices.
By date range
You can set a start date to be used in the re-numbering process of completed orders already saved.
Prefix per payment gateway
Allows you to set a prefix for each payment gateway and thus differentiate them more easily.
Compatible with EDD Invoices
With this extension installed you can filter and individualize invoices to have an individual numbering per payment gateway. And also start invoicing only from a specific date.
Compatible with EDD Sequential Order Numbers
It does not interfere with your numbering by carrying a separate field with the new numbers.
Compatibilities

EDD – Order Numbers by Gateway is compatible with EDD Sequential Numbers feature and also with the EDD Invoices addon. However, it’s not compatible with EDD – Advanced Sequential Order Numbers, because that extension is based on the status “free, pending or complete” of the invoice, so working in conjunction with this would be very confusing.

An important feature is that allows to show invoices only from those filtered gateways chosen in the list of sequential order numbers.
