With the Author Filtering of the Professional add-on, a campaign can skip the feed items written by some authors, or keep only the items of some authors, by the name that comes in the feed.
Go to WPeMatico → Settings, open the Professional tab, turn on Enable “Author Filtering” feature and save the settings. This adds the Filter Per Author box to every campaign.
- Must contain — the item becomes a post only if the name of its author has one of the words.
- Cannot contain — the item is skipped if the name of its author has one of the words.
Write the words in Words, one per line. Uppercase and lowercase don’t matter, and a word is also found inside a longer name. Leave the fields empty to turn the filter off.
For example, to skip the posts of John Doe, write John Doe in the Words field of the Cannot contain block.
The RegEx field accepts a regular expression, with its delimiters. For example, /(john|mary)/i finds the authors whose name has “john” or “mary”, and the i at the end makes it ignore uppercase and lowercase.
