Refunds Policy

Applies To: All products and services offered by Etruel Developments LLC, including downloadable software, paid subscriptions, and API credit-based services.

By purchasing any of our products or services, you agree to this Refunds Policy in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.


1. General Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products and the instant access provided after purchase, we do not offer refunds unless the product is proven to be defective and we are unable to resolve the issue through support.

This policy is in line with U.S. e-commerce practices and digital software sales regulations that you accept when purchasing.


2. Non-Refundable Cases

We do not offer refunds in the following situations:

  • You changed your mind after purchase
  • You purchased the wrong product or license type
  • You misunderstood the product’s features or requirements (clearly outlined on each product page)
  • The product did not suit your use case or failed to integrate into your environment
  • You purchased a product on sale or with a promotional discount
  • You did not request technical support before requesting a refund
  • You consumed API credits or used the subscription service, even partially
  • Your license was suspended or terminated due to policy violations

We strongly encourage users to test functionality using demo versions (when available) or to contact support for guidance before purchasing.


3. Refunds for API Services and Credit-Based Products

API-based services such as the AI Etruel Rewriter API are offered as monthly or annual subscriptions, with optional credit packages.

Refunds are not available if:

  • The service was accessed or credits were used
  • The subscription period has begun
  • You failed to cancel a subscription before the renewal date

We provide clear usage metrics and consumption tracking via your dashboard. It is your responsibility to monitor usage and manage renewals proactively.


4. Technical Issues and Support Requirement

If you believe the product is not functioning as described, you must:

  1. Open a support ticket via our Support Portal
  2. Provide all necessary diagnostic details (e.g., debug info, logs, screenshots)
  3. Cooperate with our team as we attempt to diagnose and resolve the issue

If we confirm that the product is defective and we are unable to fix it, a full or partial refund may be granted at our discretion.


5. Fraudulent or Disputed Payments

If a chargeback or PayPal dispute is initiated:

  • Your license and access to all related products/services will be immediately suspended
  • We reserve the right to ban the customer from future purchases
  • We may pursue the dispute with all supporting documentation and logs

We ask customers to always contact us first before opening disputes.


6. Refund Requests Procedure

To request a refund (in the limited eligible cases described above), you must:

  • Submit a support ticket within 7 days of the original purchase date
  • Include your order number, email address used during checkout, and a clear explanation of the issue

Requests made after 7 days or without valid technical justification will not be considered.
